Scorpions Family,

Last night the Montana Youth Lacrosse Association board voted to cancel the 2020 Billings Scorpions Lacrosse season.  Though we are all disappointed with this decision, there was no other real option for them due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.   

 Gear:

We will be in contact for a pickup sometime when the social restrictions are eased.

 Refunds:

We will begin issuing refunds for registration, opt out fees, and deposits starting next week, remember that it will take 7-10 days for a refund to process on a credit card.

 At Home Practice:  

Please help keep your athletes active on their lacrosse skills.  This time can be used for great skill development in cradling, catching and throwing (if you have a rebounder or access to a solid wall that will not become damaged by the balls).

 Summer activities:

We are not sure at this time what the opportunities will be, but we will keep you informed via email and Facebook regarding any opportunities.  We are hopeful for camps, possible scrimmages, or even a mini-tournament to be possible, though it is not a guarantee.

From the Scorpions Board of Directors, we would like to wish everyone good health and safety and would like to thank you all for being a part of the Scorpions Family.  For our 8th graders moving on to High School, I feel bad for them not having the proper send off they deserve.  We look forward to any opportunities that may arise this summer, and for the 2021 season.
