Scorpions,

What a crazy year 2020 was.  Hopefully everyone has stayed healthy and are ready for a great 2021 Lacrosse season.

I want to relay some information to hopefully answer any questions regarding the season.

Registration:

We would appreciate registering your children as soon as possible, this will determine how many games our kids will be able to play this season.

Volunteering:

We are always looking for people to volunteer and be part of the board, we would welcome any help as we are a volunteer based organization

Coaches:

We are still in need for coaches, remember that coaching will cover the volunteering credits, please send me an email if you would like to coach and have not reached out to me yet at admin@billingsscorpions.com

I want to relay some information to hopefully answer any questions regarding the season.

 Schedule:

This year the plan is for the boys and girls to be traveling to the same locations.

4/10 Helena

4/24 Missoula

5/1 Great Falls

5/8 Billings

5/15 open

5/22-23 Bozeman

Headwaters Tournament

5/29 Memorial Weekend

6/5 Open

6/12-6/13 State in Great Falls

Practices:

Due to not using the Sportsplex this season, practices will start with our outdoor practices.

We are looking at the first week of March practices starting.  School Dist. #2 will not allow us to use their property this season, but we have several parks reserved for the season.  We do not have practice locations per team determined yet, when we see how many players per team the board will then determine where each team will practice.  The parks we have reserved are; Ponderosa Park, Optimist Park, High Sierra Park, and Howard Heights Park.

 Uniforms:

This season will be a little different when it comes to uniforms.  We had ordered all the uniforms last season before covid shut down everything.  This season new uniforms will be provided for 3rd-8th grade players(we are working on something for the 1st-2nd grade kids), but players will not be able to request a number this year.

We are looking forward to a great 2021 season for our club,

Scott Lueck
